What is Swap and Bridge?
Jumper’s swap and bridge interface lets you trade tokens on the same chain or across chains from a single interface. It finds the best possible route for the asset and amount you want to swap or bridge by comparing quotes from integrated platforms for the best price, speed, and reliability.
How it works
- Select a source token (any chain) and a destination token (same or different chain).
- Jumper computes the optimal route across liquidity and bridge providers.
- Review the quote: estimated output, time, fees, and price impact.
- Confirm in your wallet. Funds arrive as the destination token and chain.
Same-chain swaps
For swaps on a single chain, Jumper uses its MetaDex Aggregator to source liquidity from 33+ DEXs and deliver the best execution price.1
Select From token and To token (same chain).
2
Enter an amount and review the live estimate.
3
Click Swap. Approve the token if prompted (one-time per token), then sign the swap.
Cross-chain swaps
Cross-chain swaps combine bridging and swapping into one automated flow. Jumper aggregates 30+ bridge providers across 65+ supported chains (see Supported Chains) and selects the best route based on output amount, execution time, cost, and availability.1
Select the source chain and asset and the destination chain and asset.
2
Review estimated output, time, and fees.
3
Click Bridge and confirm in your wallet. Track progress in the UI.
Some routes include a swap before or after the bridge. Jumper handles the full sequence.
Gas Top Up
Landing on a new chain with no native gas? Gas Top Up adds a small amount of the destination chain’s native token so you can transact immediately. Start small and you can add more later if you plan multiple actions.Key benefits
- Route aggregation: Compare routes across all integrated providers.
- Gasless swaps: Available on supported chains and pairs.
- Slippage controls: Adjust tolerance in settings (see Glossary: Slippage).
- Gas estimation: Shows expected gas cost before you confirm.
- Quote transparency: See exactly what you’ll receive, how long it takes, and what fees apply.
- Interop Token Standards: Supports interop-compatible tokens.
Fees and pricing
- Network gas fees: Paid to the blockchain, not to Jumper.
- Provider fees: May apply depending on the route.
- Price impact: Thin liquidity can reduce output.
